Ingredients
  

  • 2 large Vidalia onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives optional
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook, stirring frequently, for 20–25 minutes until caramelized. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  • Fold the cooled onions into the creamy base. Stir in chives if using. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld. Serve chilled with chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
