Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 8 different Mexican spices e.g., cumin, chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortillas corn or flour

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a skillet. Season beef with salt and pepper, then sear for 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Place the beef in the crock pot. Sprinkle with spices, pour in beef broth, and squeeze lime juice over the meat.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours until the beef is tender.
  • Shred the beef, return to the pot, and mix with juices. Serve in warm tortillas with toppings of your choice.
